Jesse Tyre Davis 
Jesse Tyre was born on June 16th, 1844 in Walker County, Alabama, USA.1 Jesse Tyre's father was Rev. Robert Davis and his mother was Zilpha Snow. His paternal grandparents were William Davis and Martha Howard; his maternal grandparents are thomas snow and mary cynthia gooch. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas J., Davis, Wiley, James Monroe, Louisa Catherine, Nancy A., Martha and Mary "Polly". He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 on December 10th, 1931 in Gorgas, Walker, Alabama, USA. He was buried on December 12th, 1931 in Liberty Hill Cemetery.2 2 -
