His paternal grandfather was John Clark; his maternal grandparents are William Maxwell and Jane Bolles. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert F, John Clarence, James Finney, Thomas J., Alexander, Samuel and Sarah. He died at the age of 76 on May 12th, 1917 in Dallas Center, Dallas, Iowa, USA. He was buried on May 15th, 1917 in Masonic Cemetery.2 2 -
