Thomas J. was born on July 15th, 1837 in Pennsylvania, USA.1   Thomas J.'s father was John Clark and his mother was Margaret Maxwell.  His paternal grandfather was John Clark; his maternal grandparents are William Maxwell and Jane Bolles. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert F, John Clarence, James Finney, William M., Alexander, Samuel and Sarah.  He died at the age of 68 on January 19th, 1906 in Danville, Montour, Pennsylvania, USA.  He was buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery.2
