Willi was born on 30-Nov-1911 in Grünwalde Kr. Lötzen. Willi's father was Michael Smollich and his mother was Friedericke Prischmann. His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He was the third of five children. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Paul, Fritz, Martha and Frieda. He died, at the age of 50, on 22-Jan-1962 in Prenzlau.
