Waltraud was born on 12-Sep-1930 in Trossen. Waltraud's father was Max Smollich and her mother was Martha Olschewski. Her paternal grandparents were Friedrich Smollich and Henriette Fiedrich. She was the oldest of two children. She had a sister named Herta. She died, at the age of 15, on 24-May-1946 in Halle.
