Sh Noraini's father was Sy Sulaiman and her mother is Sh Salmah.  Her paternal grandfather was Tn Ngah and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Sy Zainal Abidin and <Unknown>.  She had four brothers and three sisters, named Sy Harun, Sy Jaafar, Sy Abd Aziz, Sy Muhammad, Sh Fatimah, Sh Habsah and Sh Hasnah.
