Sh Katipah's father was Shohor Alhabsi and her mother was Sh Rokiah (Sh Kintan).  Her paternal grandfather was Sy Ahmad (Tuan Muda); her maternal grandparents are Sy Ali AlAttas and Sh Zainab.  She has five brothers and two sisters, named Sy Salim, Sy Kamaruzaman, Sy Shariman, Shahar, Sy Razali, Sh Khailah and Sh Kharsiah.
