William Murray

William was born on July 13th, 1897 in Blackrock and his baptism took place there on July 18th, 1897.  His godfather was William Carton and his godmother was Joanne Murray.  William's father was Michael Murray and his mother was Alice (Dolly) Williams.  His paternal grandparents were William(Gulielmo) Murray and Bridget(Brigida) Carthy; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Williams and Mary Hand. He had two sisters named Brigitta and Maria.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Alice.
