Peter Gason

Peter was born in August 1879 in Stanley, Co Durham. Peter's father was Michael Gason and his mother was Julia Murphy. His paternal grandparents were John Gason and Ellen Power; his maternal grandparents were William Murphy and Bridget Barrott. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, William, James, Edward, Michael, Bridget, Ellen and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 8 on August 15th, 1887.
