Petrus/Pieter was born on March 11th, 1795 in Amersfoort.1  Petrus/Pieter's father was Jan/Johannes Veenendaal and his mother was Barbara Kraan/Craanen.  His paternal grandparents were Jacobus Veenendaal and Catharine Zoete de Laacke van Villers; his maternal grandparents were Sander Hermanusz Craanen and Maria de Groot. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Hermanus, Jacobus, Catharina and Maria.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 37 on October 3rd, 1832 in Amersfoort.2
