Barbara Matthyssen VanKeuren (++)

Barbara was born on October 11th, 1685 in Hurley, Ulster, New York. Barbara's father was Capt. Matthys Matthyssen (Van Keuren) and her mother was Tjatje Charity Claessen DeWitt. Her paternal grandparents were Matthij Jansen Van Keulen/VanKeuren and Margriet Hendrickse; her maternal grandparents were Tjerck Claesen DeWitt and Barbara Andriessen (++). She had ten brothers and two sisters, named Gerardus, Benjamin, Cornellis, Hasael, Thomas, Nicholas, Klaes, Thomas, Tjerck, Matthys, Lea and Sara. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 75 on January 27th, 1761 in Ulster, New York.
