Mr James Wilson

James was born on September 26th, 1785 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland and his baptism took place there on October 9th, 1785.

James' father was Mr James Wilson and his mother was Mrs Elizabeth Mudie. His maternal grandparents were Mr William Mudie and Mrs Margaret Mann. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William, John, David, Charles, Margaret, Elizabeth, Susanna, Isabella, Jean and Ann. He was the third oldest of the eleven children.
