William was born in 1729 in Stallingborough, Lincolnshire, England and his baptism took place there on April 9th, 1729.  William's father was Mr John Racke and his mother was Mrs Ann NK.  His paternal grandparents were Mr William Racke and Mrs Jane West. He had two brothers named John and Thomas.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 52 in 1781 in Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, England.  He was buried on May 29th, 1781 in Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, England.
