Joseph Rack

Joseph was born in 1788 in Keelby, Lincoln, England and his christening took place on August 3rd, 1788 in Saint Bartholomew Church, Keelby, Lincoln, England. Joseph's father was William Rack and his mother was Sarah Mumby. His paternal grandparents were John Rack and Rebecca. He had three brothers and a sister, named Richard, William, John and Rebekah. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 78 in 1866 in Caistor, Lincoln, England. He was buried on May 15th, 1866 in Saint Peter and Saint Pauls Church, Caistor, Lincoln, England.

General Notes
- He had no children with Mary. She had one illigitimate child named John Smith, who lived with Joseph and became a Sweep. He (Joseph) was given an removal order from the parish of Caistor to Laceby. He paid for the upkeep of his wife while she was at Hull Asylum. She is listed as Mary Wrack of Laceby.
