Ann was born on August 2nd, 1798 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India and her baptism took place there on January 26th, 1799.  Ann's father was Mr Robert Gibson and her mother was Mrs Ann NK.  Her paternal grandparents were Mr George Gibson and Mrs Christian Arthur. She had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Marian. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, William and Margaret.  She died at the age of 40 on January 26th, 1839 in Crofton Lodge, Orpington, Kent, England.
