Robert was born on December 28th, 1910 in 23 Zennor Road, Balham, Greater London, England.¹ Robert's father was Mr Frederick William Coller and his mother was Mrs Emily Glover. His paternal grandparents were Mr Martin John Coller and Mrs Sophia Ralph. He had a brother and six sisters, named Clifford, Dorothy, Lilian, Florence, Hilda, Winifrid and Jean. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Frederick, Ernest, Nellie and Ethel. He died at the age of 83 on May 20th, 1994 in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.²
