Edouardus Torfs 
Edouardus was born on August 22nd, 1895 in Kontich. Edouardus' father was Martinus Josephus Torfs and his mother was Octavia Gaethofs. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Gaethofs and Blondina Gysbrechts. He had three brothers and a sister, named Joannes Martinus, Cornelius, Franciscus Joseph and Maria Leontina Blondina. He was the third oldest of the five children.-
