Rachel was born in 1879.  Rachel's father was Thomas Kain and his mother was Rachael Odgers.  His paternal grandparents were Carleton Kane and Ann Jane Odgers; his maternal grandfather is Roger Odgers. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert, Thomas, John, Worsey, Carlton, George and Annie.  George and Rachel were twins.  He died at the age of 75 in 1954.
