William of_Windsor was born on June 24th, 1348 in Windsor Castle,Berkshire,England.  William of_Windsor's father was Edward_III and his mother was Philippa of_Hainault.  His paternal grandparents were Edward_II and Isabella of_France; his maternal grandfather was William of_Hainault.  He was the eleventh of twelve children.  He had six brothers and five sisters, named Edward, William of_Hatfield, Lionel of_Antwerp, John of_Gaunt, Edmund of_Langley, Thomas of_Woodstock, Isabella, Joan (Joanna), Blanche, Mary and Margaret.  He died at 3 months old in September 1348.
