Margaret was born on September 11th, 1275 in Windsor Castle,Berkshire,England.  Margaret's father was Edward_I (Longshanks) and her mother was Eleanor of_Castile.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry_III and Eleanor of_Provence; her maternal grandfather was Ferdinand_III.  She was the eighth of fifteen children.  She had four brothers and ten sisters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward_II, Eleanor, Joan, Julian (Katherine), Joan of_Acre, Berengaria, Mary, Alice, Elizabeth, Beatrice and Blanche.  She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas of_Brotherton, Edmund of_Woodstock and Eleanor.  She died at the age of 43 in 1318 in Brussels.
