Alfonso

Alfonso was born on November 24th, 1273 in Bordeaux. Alfonso's father was Edward_I (Longshanks) and his mother was Eleanor of_Castile. His paternal grandparents were Henry_III and Eleanor of_Provence; his maternal grandfather was Ferdinand_III. He was the seventh of fifteen children. He had three brothers and eleven sisters, named John, Henry, Edward_II, Eleanor, Joan, Julian (Katherine), Joan of_Acre, Margaret, Berengaria, Mary, Alice, Elizabeth, Beatrice and Blanche. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas of_Brotherton, Edmund of_Woodstock and Eleanor. He died at the age of 10 on August 19th, 1284 in Windsor Castle,Berkshire,England.
