John was born on July 10th, 1266 in Windsor,Berkshire,England. John's father was Edward_I (Longshanks) and his mother was Eleanor of_Castile. His paternal grandparents were Henry_III and Eleanor of_Provence; his maternal grandfather was Ferdinand_III. He was the third of fifteen children. He had three brothers and eleven sisters, named Henry, Alfonso, Edward_II, Eleanor, Joan, Julian (Katherine), Joan of_Acre, Margaret, Berengaria, Mary, Alice, Elizabeth, Beatrice and Blanche. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas of_Brotherton, Edmund of_Woodstock and Eleanor. He died at the age of 5 on August 3rd, 1271 in Westminster,London,England.
