Louise was born in 1828.  Louise's father was William_I of_Germany and her mother was Augusta of_Saxe-Weimar.  Her paternal grandparents were Frederick William_III and Louise of_Mecklenburg- Strelitz.  She was the oldest of two children.  She had a brother named Frederick_III.  She died at the age of 95 in 1923.
