Gorm was born in 1919.  Gorm's father was Harold and his mother was Helene of_Schleswig- Holstein.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick_VIII and Louise of_Sweden.  He is the fourth of five children.  He had a brother and three sisters, named Oluf of_Rosenborg, Alexandrine Louise, Caroline Mathilde and Feodora.
