Frederick_VI was born on January 28th, 1768 in Christiansborg,Nr: Copenhagen,Denmark.  Frederick_VI's father was Christian_VII and his mother was Caroline Matilda Hanover.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick_V and Louisa Hanover; his maternal grandparents were Frederick Louis Hanover and Augusta of_Saxe-Gotha.  He was the oldest of two children.  He had a sister named Louise Augusta.  He died at the age of 71 on December 3rd, 1839 in Amalienborg.
