Frederick was born in 1753.  Frederick's father was Frederick_V and his mother was Juliana Maria.  His paternal grandparents were Christian_VI and Sophie Magdalene.  He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Christian, Christian_VII, Sophia Magdalena, Caroline and Louise.  He died at the age of 52 in 1805.
