Francis_II was born on January 19th, 1544 in Fontainebleau,France.  Francis_II's father was Henry_II and his mother was Catherine of_Florence de_Medici.  His paternal grandparents were Francis_I and Claude of_France.  He was the oldest of three children.  He had two brothers named Charles_IX and Henry_III.  He died at the age of 16 on December 5th, 1560 in Orleans,France.  His burial was in St. Denis,France.
