Charlotte was born in 1800.  Charlotte's father was William_I of_Netherlands and her mother was Wilhelmina.  Her paternal grandparents were William_V of_Orange and Wilhelmina; her maternal grandparents were Frederick William_II and Frederica of_Hesse- Darmstadt.  She was the third of four children.  She had two brothers and a sister, named William_II of_Netherlands, Frederik of_Netherlands and Marianne of_Netherlands.  She died at the age of 6 in 1806.
