Caroline was born in 1743.  Caroline's father was William_IV of_Orange and her mother was Anne Hanover.  Her paternal grandparents were John William of_Orange Friso and Mary Louise; her maternal grandparents were George_II Hanover and Caroline of_Ansbach.  She was the oldest of two children.  She had a brother named William_V of_Orange.  She died at the age of 44 in 1787.
