Robert was born in April 1954.  Robert's father is Sargent Shriver and his mother is Eunice Mary Kennedy.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald.  He has three brothers and a sister, named Anthony, Mark, Timothy and Maria.  He is the oldest of the five children.
