Dorea was born in 1920.  Dorea's father was Cygnus Black and her mother was Violetta Bulstrode (Black).  Her paternal grandparents were Phineas Nigellus Black and Ursula Flint (Black).  She was the youngest of four children.  She had two brothers and a sister, named Pollux, Marius and Cassiopeia.  She died at the age of 57 in 1977.
