Martha was born in 1873.  Martha's father was Harrison Glover and her mother was Lydia Van Sickle.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Glover and Sarah  Street (Glover). She had a brother and four sisters, named Joshua, Mary, Arbella, Cora and Dallia. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named William, Albert, Roy, Carl, Minnie, Myrtle and <Unknown>.
