Barbara was born in 1867.  Barbara's father was John M Glover and her mother was Margaret Sisler.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Glover and Sarah  Street (Glover); her maternal grandparents were Samuel Sisler Jr and Barbara Walp. She had five sisters named Savilla, Sarah, Ida, Clara and Alice.
