António Magno 's father was João de Nobrega do Nascimento and his mother was Matilde da Conceição de Freitas Morna.  His maternal grandparents were  João de Freitas Morna and  Perpétua Rodrigues.  He is the youngest of three children.  He has a brother and a sister, named João Virgilio and Maria Dulce.
