William was born on January 10th, 1911 in Aspinwall, IA.1   William's father was William F Walter and his mother was Amelia Marie Kai.  He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Henry, Alfred, Ivan, Louis, Leona, Anna, Arlene, Mamie, Elsie, Melinda, Emma and Cecil.  He died at the age of 61 on July 5th, 1972 in Carroll, Iowa.1

William and Helen were married on August 17th, 1931 in Manning, IA.  They had four sons and four daughters, named Duane, Kenneth, Walter, Walter, Walter, Walter, Walter and Walter.

Male Duane Robert Walter
Duane was born on March 6th, 1932.  He died at the age of 12 in March 1944 in Carroll, Iowa.

Male Kenneth Lee Walter
Kenneth was born on April 23rd, 1934.  He died at the age of 44 on May 28th, 1978 in Ft. Dodge, IA.
