Anna was born on March 12th, 1796.  Anna's father was Johann Martin Helsper and her mother was Eva Heidrig.  Her paternal grandparents are Joannes Helsper and Anna Maria Helsper.  She had two brothers and four sisters, named Johann, Johannes, Klara, Eva, Katharina and Elisabeth.  She was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
