Anna Maria was born on March 14th, 1745.  Anna Maria's father was Joannes Helsper and her mother was Anna Maria Helsper.  Her paternal grandparents were Johann Jost Helsper and Eva Maria Heidrich; her maternal grandparents were Joh. Best Helsper and Anna Dorothea.  She had two brothers and six sisters, named Joannes, Johann Martin, Eva, Anna Cath, Eva Maria, Eva, Anna Elisabeth and Anna Gertrud.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She had a half-sister named Cathrin.
