Ann was born in 1716 in Bruton, Somerset.  Ann's father was Thomas White and her mother was Mary Hilborn.  Her paternal grandfather is John White.  She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, John, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Mary, Mary and Ann.
