John Tembey

John was born in 1853 in Dalton, Lancs and his baptism took place on September 24th, 1854 in Urswick, Lancs. John's father was William Tembey and his mother is Jane Walker. His paternal grandparents were John Tembey and Isabella Bennetts. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Samuel, Samuel, James Robert, James Robert, Mary Jane, Isabella and Anna Maria. He is the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Catherine.
