Herbert Simons

Herbert was born in 1850 in Chatley Hamlet, Essex. Herbert's father was Richard Simons and his mother was Sophia Barnard. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Simons and Ann; his maternal grandparents are John Barnard and Mary. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Arthur Ernest, Alice, Selina, Margaret Emily, Ellen Augusta, Edith Mary and Lilias Sophia Annie. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 in 1920 in Little Leighs, Essex. His burial was on December 23rd, 1920 in Little Leighs Hall, Little Leighs, Essex.
