Alice Simons

Alice was born in 1851 in Chatley Hamlet, Essex. Alice's father was Richard Simons and her mother was Sophia Barnard. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Simons and Ann; her maternal grandparents are John Barnard and Mary. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Herbert, Arthur Ernest, Selina, Margaret Emily, Ellen Augusta, Edith Mary and Lilias Sophia Annie. She is the fourth oldest of the ten children.
