William Merrett

William was born about 1891 in Christchurch, Monmouthshire. William's father was William Merrett and his mother was Eda Marker. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Merrett and Elizabeth Jones; his maternal grandparents are John Marker and Margaret. He has two brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Henry, Ethel, Fanny, Mary, Edith and Florence. He is the sixth oldest of the eight children.
