Joseph Bell

Joseph was born in 1839 in Stainburn, Workington, Cumberland and his baptism took place on March 3rd, 1839 in Saint Michael, Workington, Cumberland, England. Joseph's father was William Bell and his mother is Jane Simon. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Bell and Agnes Stephenson; his maternal grandparents were John Simon and Hannah Owens. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William, John and Hannah. He was the oldest of the five children. He died before 1901.
