Hester Margaretha van Blerk (Ackerman) 
Hester Margaretha was born in 1850. Hester Margaretha's father was Siemon Petrus (Paatjie) van Blerck and her mother was Anna Margaretha van der Merwe (van Blerck). Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Petrus (Jan) van Blerk and Geertruida Elizabeth Louw (van Blerk). She had two brothers named Nicolaas Philip and Philip Petrus. She had five half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Jacobus Adrijan Rozier, Simon Petrus, Petrus Gerhardus Louw, Jan Albertus, Gerhadus, Johanna Petronella, Jacomina Aletta, Anna Magrita, Cornelia Johanna Jacoba, Martha Berrenda, Catharina Christina and Ragel Elizabeth. She died at the age of 80 in 1930.-
