Male James Walmsley

James was born on June 26th, 1811 in Preston, Lancashire, England and his baptism took place there on October 13th, 1811.1   James' father was John Walmsley and his mother was Isabella Busby.  His maternal grandparents are William Busby and Margaret. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Joseph, John, Thomas, Jane, Jane, Isabella and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 50 in 1861.

James and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on June 13th, 1832 in Church Street, Broughton, Preston, Lancashire, England.2   They had four sons and seven daughters, named John, Joseph, William, James, Jane, Isabella, Margaret, Nancy, Hannah, Ann and Mary.
