Female Hannah Reay

Hannah was born on January 27th, 1799 in Sunderland, Durham, England and her baptism took place on March 10th, 1799 in Holy Trinity, Sunderland, Durham, England.1 2   Hannah's father is David Reay and her mother is Hannah (Ann) Hazard.  Her paternal grandparents are Cuthbert Reay and Isabel Mitchell; her maternal grandparents are Robert Hazard and Ann Johnson. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Isabella, Robert, David, James, Giles, George, Cuthbert, Ann and Mary.  She died about 1880.

Hannah's family with William Armstrong

Hannah and William were married in a religious ceremony on May 17th, 1818 in Sunderland, Durham, England.1   They had three sons and six daughters, named Thomas, James Elliot, William, Sarah, Hannah, Margaret, Jane, Isabella and Ann.
