Richard Hitchen

Richard was born in March 1873 in Preston, Lancashire, England. Richard's father was Thomas Hitchen and his mother was Margaret Calderbank. His maternal grandfather was Richard Calderbank and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Charnley. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, William Alfred, Thirza, Elizabeth Ellen, Emily Jane and Ethel Maggie. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 57 in 1930.
