John Hitchen

John was born in June 1888. John's father was Thomas Hitchen and his mother was Margaret Calderbank. His maternal grandfather was Richard Calderbank and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Charnley. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Thomas, William Alfred, Thirza, Elizabeth Ellen, Emily Jane and Ethel Maggie. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 34 in 1922.
