Male John Birch

John was born about 1829 in Kirkham, Fylde, Lancashire, England.  John's father was Edward Birch and his mother is Alice Nixon. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Edward, Jane, Nancy, Margaret and Alice.  He is the fifth oldest of the seven children.

John's family with Hannah Southern

John and Hannah were married in a religious ceremony about 1857.  They have four sons and two daughters, named Robert, John, James, John Thomas, Alice and Elizabeth.
