Male Herbert Barnfield

Herbert was born on January 16th, 1878 in Bronygarth, Oswestry, Shropshire, England.  Herbert's father was Richard Barnfield and his mother was Sarah Jones.  His paternal grandfather was Joseph Barnfield and his paternal grandmother is Mary Austin; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Jones and Elizabeth Powell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edmund, Arthur, William Henry, Richard Eaton, May, Sarah Anne and Mary Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 64 on August 9th, 1942 in Albert Street School, Eccles, Barton Upon Irwell, Lancashire, England.1 

Herbert's family with Kate Pryce Richards

Herbert and Kate Pryce were married in a religious ceremony on September 14th, 1903 in High Street, Ruabon, Denbighshire, Wales.  They had three sons and four daughters, named Richard Edwin, Harold Leslie, Walter Harold, Sarah Hilda, Elsie May, Alice Selena and Joyce Kathleen.
